The ECCOMAS Advanced Online Course on Computational Structural Dynamics will be held on August 31 - September 4, 2020 - for the first time ever in webinar format!
All relevant details related to the course can be found on the webpage: http://shortcourse2020.it.cas.cz. It would be great if you could distribute this information within your working groups and universities. The main target group of the course are PhD students and postdoctoral researchers, who probably otherwise cannot go on any conferences or workshops this year due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
As established by the Constitution of IACM, the World Congresses on Computational Mechanics (WCCM) rotate on a two year cycle between the three geographical regions of IACM.
14th World Congress on Computational Mechanics (WCCM XIV) jointly organzied with the 8th European Congress on Computational Methods in Applied Sciences and Engineering (ECCOMAS 2020)
19 – 24 July 2020
Paris, France

The main event organized by ECCOMAS is a large European Congress taking place on a four year cycle and addressing scientists and engineers both in and outside Europe. The main objective of these conferences is to provide a forum for presentation and discussion of state-of-the-art in scientific computing applied to engineering sciences. Equal emphasis is given to basic methodologies, scientific development and industrial applications.

The main ECCOMAS conferences are complemented with more focused thematic conferences, organized on odd years, on state-of-the-art topics in computational science and engineering, organized with the support of ECCOMAS, which attract overall about 3,000 participants. These Thematic Conferences will take place all over Europe. Their enormous success expanded the visibility of ECCOMAS on a global scale and opened its frontiers to the rest of the world. The Thematic Conferences have set up a model which other national and regional associations are trying to adopt.
